Marketing makes the difference in online trading

Marketing macht den Unterschied im Onlinehandel - E-Commerce BBQ

Bielefeld, September 12, 2022 – E-commerce and logistics are inextricably linked. Because logistics fulfills the promises made by online retailers to their end customers. But what to do if the logistics for online trade are already optimized in their processes to such an extent that fast delivery times and shipping quality are no longer relevant decision criteria for consumers when choosing the “right” online shop because the logistics work? Then marketing makes the difference. The experts and speakers agreed on this at this year’s E-Commerce BBQ on September 2, 2022, organized by the logistics service provider B+S GmbH Logistik und dienstleistungen, in Bielefeld. But where is the journey of (online) marketing in e-commerce headed? And how should e-commerce deal with the current consumer skepticism in the face of war and inflation?

Byebye E-Commerce-Hype?

Von Start-ups bis zum Marktplatzanbieter, vom Nischenprodukt bis zum Markenartikel: Wir entwickeln Ihr E-Business weiter!

Bielefeld, September 9th, 2022 – E-commerce is the new normal, the Federal Association of E-Commerce and Mail Order Germany e.V. (bevh) announced at the beginning of 2022. And it had (and had) every reason to do so in January – with sales growth over 80 billion euros in 2020 and a renewed boom to 100 billion euros in gross sales in 2021. According to bevh, every seventh euro in 2021 was spent on goods in e-commerce. Online retailers could hardly save themselves from orders for the most diverse product categories from garden furniture to fashion items. Even the stepchild of German online retail, foodstuffs, was able to generate an increase in sales of over one billion euros due to the 2021 pandemic. So good times for logistics service providers in e-commerce fulfillment. And now?

Is online trading sweeping inner cities empty?

Fegt der Onlinehandel Innenstädte leer?

Bielefeld, August 25, 2022 – How sustainable is the e-commerce boom? And how much does stationary retail in East Westphalia suffer from online retail? The answer to that is not easy. The fact is: Neither sales channel can do without functioning logistics that transport goods and goods safely and punctually around the world. Industry and trade need logistics like they need air to breathe. For Stefan Brinkmann, founder and managing director of B+S, this is reason enough to set up his own event on the subject of e-commerce. With great success – because this year the crème de la crème of German online trade will meet for the fifth time in Bielefeld for the almost legendary E-Commerce BBQ.
