Experience the world of online trading live
Bielefeld, July 25, 2019 – On September 6, 2019, Bielefeld is all about e-commerce for a day. Shop operators, practitioners and experts from the online business meet at the annual E-Commerce BBQ in the logistics park Fuggerstrasse for a mutual exchange. In short keynote speeches by well-known speakers and a subsequent BBQ party, speakers and participants discuss with each other all the aspects that determine success or failure in digital trading and the digitization of business processes. The organizer B+S GmbH Logistik und Dienstleistungen expects between 300 and 400 visitors. The emphatically relaxed framework offers them enough opportunity to have a relaxed conversation.
E-commerce is one of the major growth drivers in retail: More and more people are discovering the convenient delivery of small and large articles for themselves. In Germany alone, online trade rose by 11 percent last year to a turnover of 65 billion euros. In view of this development, it is all the more important for the actors involved to know the current trends in this fast-moving industry in order to make their business profitable. “It is our concern to bring shop operators and experts together and to offer them a suitable framework to get to know each other and to exchange ideas about the opportunities and the daily requirements of online trading,” explains B+S Managing Director Stefan Brinkmann. Whether grill specialties from the smoker, vegetarian dishes, relaxed music or the cool drink in the cocktail lounge under the open sky: the BBQ enables an uncomplicated exchange at eye level.
B+S is organizing the popular industry get-together for the third time. This year, over twenty speakers will share their know-how from the booming business with the event participants in varied keynote speeches, for example on the topics of developing suitable logistics services, online marketing or sustainable packaging.
“We want to show that in addition to the presentation of goods in the Internet business, optimized logistics and the value chain contribute inseparably to success,” says Stefan Brinkmann. The medium-sized logistics service provider therefore offers the participants a look behind the scenes. In his Bielefeld distribution center, participants learn which stations an article goes through after a consumer has placed the order and how quickly he can actually receive the goods at home. Enough conversation material to make new contacts and to get suggestions for the further development of your own online business.
